Why CRM Middleware is required to replicate Material Master from ECC to SRM whereas the Vendor Master
is replicate with Transaction....could you please explain.

ROS intergration in SAP SRM
Hi experts,
im facing a problem while configuring ROS. If i want to test the BSP 'ros_self_reg' i allways recive the following error:
500 SAP Internal Server Error
ERROR: Message type is unknown. (termination: RABAX_STATE)
I tried to solve the issue according to the following blog BSP In-Depth: Fully Qualified Domain Names but the error isnt fixed yet..

Issue in ordering PO from SRM with NO further invoice check
Hi All,
We have implemented SRM 7.13 with SP01 and facing the below issues:
1) We have ordered PO and created GR & Invoice.
2) After Gr and invoice , we have made no further confirmation and no further incvoices checked.
3) Status of PO is changing to ERROR in PROCESS and getting the error as"PO 4400000047: System error invoking ADDR_NUMBER_GET: return code 1".
Can you please let me know how to clear this issue.

When user click Describe Requirements Hyperlink, a popup will come and it contains a field Product Category.In that field i need to maintain Limited Vendors list.As of now it is showing all the vendors.

Creating Custom Checkbox and attaching a Error Message

In the final step of shopping cart i need to place a custom checkbox and user tries to click ORDER button.He should get a Error Message asking to 'Select the checkbox'.
How to achieve this.

'Display' Shopping Cart not working
Hi,
We are on SRM 7.0 and ECC 6.0. We are using Netweaver 7.01 (SP7) for our portal.
We are able to login into the portal, create a shopping cart and order it. However after ordering the shopping cart, when we come back to check its status, we are unable to open the detailed cart that had just been ordered. Even if we select the cart and click on the u2018displayu2019 button, the cart does not open up.
However other buttons like u2018export to excelu2019, u2018print previewu2019 etc are working fine.
Pl provide inputs.

enable field Product Type
Dear SRM Experts,
In SRM 7.0,
how to make the "Product Type" field editable in order to choose "Service" since we need implement the service function as well in SRM.
Furthermore is meta data configuration in IMG also needed.

External Punchout catalog link is dead in shopping cart creation screen
Dear All,
I am facing a concern where the external punch out catalog link is not working in shopping cart screen. To be precise, the link is dead. I have done all the below configurations
1.) As per the SAP note 1643978, I have configured the Launch catalog in LPD_CUST
2.) And the group access has also been assigned to the user as per the above note
3.) In reference to the folder permissions on portal content, the access has been given according to the note - 1260119
I have tried in all different browsers but no luck. Could you please advise if there is any other activity which needs to be performed. Thanks in advance for your help.

SRM7: PO Webdynpro fields not saved
Hi,
We've added customs fields to the PO header in SPRO using the guide here Custom Field for SRM SC WebDynpro Application
We've also added the fields using SE80 to /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_PO_H_BD1
They are appearing ok on the purchase order screen but when we enter in values they are not saved. (switching tabs resets them)
What other steps are we missing?

I got error After adding a start condition to the workflow
Hello,
I added a start condition to the event 'CHANGEVERSIONSAVED'.
But when i tried to change a PO and reorder it i got the following error:
Cannot get process info from WF archive; function AS_API_READ causes exceptn No Infostruc Found

PO in classic scenario
Hi All,
we are on Classic scenario, all customizing settings are done to create a PO directly in backend.
after the approval of the SC its showing item in transfer process, when checked bbp_bw_sc2 for the follow on document details we noticed local PO number is picked up, PO is not created in the backend. need your inputs.

Removing Standard UI Element in WD Component

1.Can you tell me how to hide a UI element based on Role.
In SPRO is it possible??
2.How to remove a standard UI element from Webdynrpo Component.
when i click enhance i am able to right click on UI element and select Remove Element
and next it is showing a red mark beside it and when i save and activate it it is not getting removed.

How do I query the field DISP_URL?
Hello, I am attempting to transfer all of our SRM documents from the SRM server to a new location. I was able to track down the document URLs through the function module BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL - field DISP_URL, but I have not been able to find a table against which I can query this field. Does anyone know of a table that holds the information I am finding through the FM? Better yet, does anyone know of a standard way to download all attachments hosted on my SRM server? Any help is much appreciated! Evan

Can we add a new attachment to an existing SC from any other custom page in SoCo PO View
Hi Experts,
Need your expert advice on the below requirement.
We have created a custom view in SoCo PO page. There we have a New custom view called Notes&attachement.which contains same value from Notes & attachment of Shopping Cart.
We are updating existing Notes of SC by FM 'bbp_pd_sc_update' and same is reflected in SC of same item guid & same header guid.
Similarly trying to add a new Attachment to already existing attachment. New attachment is reflected in custom page and the describe link is working perfectly. but if come out of SoCo page , lets say in SC the new added attachment is shown but display_url,phio_size etc are not stored properly in DB.
in bbp_pd transaction every thing looks same for new and existing attachment. we are using same FM 'BBP_PD_SC_UPDATE' by passing new internal table of attachment in import statement. Even 'BBP_PROC_DOC_UPADTE' has same result that is attachment is partially updated.
Suppose, SC has one attachment at the time of creation. then adding a new attachment in custom view of SoCo PO page then every thing works fine in SoCo PO page but out of that SoCo PO or in SC the newly added attachment is not properly updated.
I have added mime_type,phio_size,disp_url,file_name,file_ext,ev_content of new attachment in existing attachment internal table and calling above FM for update.
Can we add new attachment outside SC to existing SC ? if yes , then how?

How do you disable Partner registration notification generated from create contact person with Reference
Hello SRM Guru's,
We are implementing RFx/Auction functionality & our service desk will be creating contact person with reference for suppliers to log into our external portal.
Supplier will be receiving Login ID and Password for our external portal & they do not need to receive "Partner registration completed successfully" notification which is generated when Contact person is set up from SRM Administration / External Business Partner/ create contact person with reference'
I have looked through IMG, specifically Event and Event Schema for Alert Management & do not see where I can disable the Partner registration notification.

SRM PR,PO is not getting created in ECC backend
HI
i create SC in classic scenario. and after the manager approve the SC the follow on Doc didnt create in ECC
i define object for po pr and reserve in backend
when i check FM :BBP_PD_SC_CHECK i havent any error message
but when i have chek the SC in RZ20 i have this error: Local Error: Shopping cart 0010000308: Error creating the follow-on document
and when i chek BBP_PD i have this status:

HEADER I1015 Awaiting Approval X
HEADER I1021 Created
HEADER I1038 Complete
