I am working in classic decoupled scenario. The Quotation is submitted by the bidder from SUS system. The Quote reaches SRM system. In SRM system, the Purchaser takes a decision to accept/ reject / return the Quotation. The Mail is getting triggered for the acceptance after the workflow approval. But for the scenarios where Bid is rejected or returned to the bidder requesting re submission there is no approval workflow.
I have done the configuration for mails
SPRO--> SRM Server --> CABS--> Event and Event Schema for Alert Management --> Define Event Schema
Maintained as per attachment. Please check the same. The Sub category is maintained as per the T code: ALRTCATDEF
Maintained Schema in Transaction type, Under Output actions --> Processing when saving document is maintained.
The Rule type is Workflow Conditions. Without changing this how to trigger mails for return and reject.
Any help is appreciated in this regard.

Hi All,
We are using SRM 7.0.
User is having separate maintain subsitutes folder in his login.
As per his requirement instead of Maintain substitutes folder, he wants the Substitution link in his home screen and there is no separate role created for this.
What are the settings needs to be done in this regards?

So could you please provide what are the ACTIVITIES and TESTING are needs to be performed before and after upgrade process from the FUNCTIONAL prospects.Please provide the mandatory activity and testing also

I have one question regarding the Embedded Search with TREX in SRM UI Addon.
We're using one big MDM Catalog for our content.
Dependend of the catalog-ID in PPOMA the user sees the catalog. Additionally we have maintained the attribute namedsearch in the WS-Services for catalog views.
By using the MDM Extraction the whole catalog is stored on the TREX Server.
At the moment the parameter "namedsearch" isn't observed by the TREX search. The user sees all items of the catalog instead of his catalog views.
I found the Customizing Step "Catalog View" in the configuration cookbook of SRM UI Addon but I don't understand how to maintain this table respectively how to connect this new UI5 table for catalog views with the namedsearch we already customized.
I hope you can help me here.

We are implementing SRM 7.02 in two client scenario for public sector and our requirement is to have MSME field in ROS screen and during transfer
it to ECC same data should also be stored there.
Once vendor data is complete we need to replicate that custom field to SRM client as well.
Can you please suggest how we can do that.We are using PI for data transfer from ROS client to ECC.

We are running SRM 5, ECS. Newly created limit PO in DEV system goes error in process throwing error "Buffer is too small, see long text". Goods/Service POs do not have this issue.
I can see its a standard error message Class NR, message number 031 in SRM. Please advice what to do?

I have one query ,We are using classic Scenario in which user is creating a SC based on Asset + WBS element but PO get created with Internal + Asset + WBS. now user trying to GR/Confirmation as there is wrong in the process ( I.e., where the Order not come in to the picture) he cannot proceed further.

May i know the USE and HOW TO CHECK in the system the outcome of the availability check for internal products line items during shopping cart creation?
Below shows some data but this is different from ECC display of MMBE
will this checking apply if for example, item product ID comes from catalog? (and not necessarily from the choices after clicking standard "internal products and services")
Also, can this functionality be used as a source of supply from other plant? (meaning for intra-company transaction/stock transfer order purposes?)

We are in the process of upgrading SRM 4.0 to SRM 7.03. We will actually be implementing SRM 7.03 since SRM 4.0 cannot be be upgraded to SRM 7.0 and beyond.
Our users would like to access their old SRM 4.0 shopping cart data in SRM 7.03 once it goes live. We would like to know how can the SC data be migrated from SRM 4.0 to SRM 7.03.

We are on SRM_SERVER 550, SAP 4.7 backend and are moving to ECS scenario (from Classic scenario).
Currently the PO output gets trigerred from R/3 (since its in Classic scenario) and we would like to keep it the same way.
I understand that there is a consulting note 883693 to enable PO output determination in R/3 for ECS scenario. We would be taking that approach.
The only constraint we have is--> In Classic scenario, many of our buyers change R/3 PO's to add new message types. They also use ME9F to reprint PO's.
Since in ECS, they wont be able to change the PO copy in R/3--> How can we keep the functionality of adding new message types in the PO copy in backend?
Is there any other way/transaction/option available for this?
Also, will the users be able to use ME9F for printing the ECS PO's in R/3? Will this work for ECS PO's?

Hello SAP SRM Gurus.
We have a problem when we are creating a PO. Problem is, we have a vendor extended to more than one Purchase organizations. Example - Porg - 7710, 7720, 7730, 7740 so on...
When the PO is created for Purchase organization 7730, it picks the Payment terms of first porg in the vendor i.e 7710.
If the vendor is extended to only 7730 and 7740, it picks the first Payment term i.e 7730. How to solve this issue. i think this is a standard issue.
Please help me on this.

In a requirement, even if vendor in back end system is marked for GR based invoice verification,it is required for purchase order to be able to do invoicing without GR. For that, in BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI, i am clearing the GR_BASED_IV flag before the data gets passed to back end system via BBP_PO_INBOUND.
What else should be done so as PO appears in MIRO after it is replicated to back end system.

Hi Experts,
we are using SRM 7.1.3 and we have custom workflow activated for Shopping Cart(Multiple levels of approvers).
we have configured the "Acceptance by contact person" in workflow to handle the rejection process to send a notification back to Requestor in case of rejection so that the person can accept it or reorder it.
we have 2 ways of rejection here.1. any approver can reject the SC or 2. after certain days of pending(with out any action by approver) we are auto rejecting the SC and setting the status to 'Release Rejected' by a custom program.
Here the problem is, in both the ways the requestor can able to recieve a notification to take a action but when they reorder the SC,it is directly creating the PO. Workflow is not getting triggered again so that it will go through the approval process again after SC change. I observed like main work item of SC is not yet closed after rejection, I can see in SWi6 like till the user recieves a notification. After that once SC is reorderd it is directly creating the PO with out any WF and I can see the main work item of SC is still in open status.
Here our requirement is to trigger the workflow again, once SC is resubmitted after rejection. Please can anyone help me why is this happening and let me know is there any settings to be done inorder to achive this.
