We are using the classic scenario, the user will type in text in SRM on the SC or the RFx which is then mapped to ECC to be added onto the PO at the point of PO create. When the XML reaches ECC, the PO fails and the failure shows in SXMB_MONI with the below error:

We have identified a number of characters that cause the issue such as below but there are many more. Is there a way changing config or notes to allow these characters into ECC on the PO. Why won't the system allow these characters plus a whole lot of others?
