Custom BSP for SRM UI Addon

Hi Experts,

I know that for extensibility of SRM UI Addon, we should follow the cook book. But I was wondering if there is a way to complete create a custom BSP application for SRM UI Addon instead of injecting pieces of code using custom JS/CSS. Much like how FIORI extensibility works.
