Backend contract conditions not copied in classic PO from shopping cart

Hello experts,

We are implementing self service procurement with MDM catalog, in the classic scenario.

The shopping carts are created with reference to a backend (ECC) contract; and on approval, PO is created in the backend.

The contract has several condition types, e.g. discount, octroi etc.

However, in the self service PO that is created, these conditions are not being copied to the PO.

In the Pricing analysis screen in the PO, I see that the condition record is determined from the contract, however there is a message: 108: Condition Record Exists, but has not been set.

(The conditions are copied if I create a Po directly in ECC from the said contract. These conditions are entered in the contract at the header level. The discount condition is assigned the standard access sequence KB01.)

Is this the standard behavior that the self service PO will not copy any other conditions from the contract ?

Or, am I missing something - and what can I do to get the conditions copied in the PO ?

Thanks;

Amit
